hardcore bands during summer/spring/fall and indie acoustic during the winter.

it’s called the house. It’s a very magical place during the winter.

I went to a few spring shows when the hardcore bands showed up, and besides meeting cool people like karlie and izzy, as you can probably tell that music isn’t for me.

but i have been trying to develop a live show set up that i can play at the house with.

Dj’ing isn’t popular.

it can’t compete with hardcore’s popularity.

during the winter mike quill and i thought up “Lady Guru”. A duo with two simple instruments and a box full of little toy ones. you hand out the little ones to the crowd and they play with you.v developing a song. (without paying attention to key because i lack music theory).

that didn’t work out, i still need to try it though.

Today i thought of something to compete with the hardcore bands!

i’m not a huge dubstep fan, but i am a fan, and it could compete with hardcore. I’ll just make dubstep without beat, get a drummer like Darian to do the beat on live drums like tek-one. and boom! we have ourselves a live show!

too bad it’s booked until next spring.

but i never feel like going to bed until early in the morning.

night is more depressing than the day. which is weird because night is when i take in media and junk on the internet. During the day i do the opposite, like today i vacuumed (spelling?), cleaned, etc. and worked on music.

I really like it when it picks up like before half way though. (sorry no timestamps) I was never a personal fan of some slow pick ups like in the beginning. I also dont listen to -that- much dubstep, but it seems to be coming along pretty well. Look forward to what else you come up with =D

I Just finished the effy episode. S2.E7.

i really think i should stop here and move on to series 3. It’s the only perfectly happy moment in the series so far and i know it’s all down hill from here. maybe i’ll move on, maybe i’ll finish it. but this show is so depressing i think quitting while i’m ahead would be good.
